important info about your first evaluation

Class please bear this information in mind

The level 3 presentations are individual 4-minute Career-related presentations that students have to give.



Here are the important points to remember:


1. You are not allowed to read. You can use notes but you should only glance at them from time to time.


2. Students who read their presentations can be marked normally but their mark should be divided in two (e.g. highest mark for readers = 3.5).


3. You should apply same criteria in the case of slide shows full of text. A slide show should contain summarised information, not long pieces of text. Ideally, each slide should contain no more than 3 or 4 words.


4. Remember, this activity accounts for 20% of the final mark and so marking needs to be accurate.

About today's Session

Dear Class,

This time, please one of the two following options:


Post Option 1:Write about a career-related website that you enjoy visiting.


You should:


- provide a link


- describe the website (sections, features,etc)


- say how often you visit the site


- explain why you like the site.

>Add comments to at least 3 of your classmates’ blogs


>Word Count: 180 - 200






Post Option 2: Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?

You should say:


-Who she/he is.(short biography)


-What she/he has done. (examples of their work)


-Why you like her/him.


-Include his/her image


> About 180 -200 words please


>Add comments to at least 3 of your classmates’ blogs
 
 
If you ask me, maybe the first option is more useful for your presentations next week.
